Atashinchi no Danshi Review

Drama Review Wednesday!
So first off...WELCOME TO DRW (Drama Review Wednesday)! This is the first of many to come ^^ Now let's get down to business: reviewing Atashinchi no Danshi.

So when I first saw this in a Top 10 Japanese Drama on Youtube. So I went and checked it out. I wasn't all that interested. I mean the picture drew me in a little but not all of the way. So, when I read the summary...I still wasn't impressed. But several of my friends who had watched it before said that it was really good. I bit the bullet and pressed play on Episode one....

To say I was shocked was an understatement ha-ha. I saw Maki with this hair and I couldn't stop laughing. I was honestly a little scared but the shock factor was nice. Especially when she entered the cafe.
I could't help but laugh at the scene where she is being chased in the showers by the goons. It was just too funny. That whole scene was just perfect. But moving on. All in all I loved this drama. I kind of got stale in the middle though. It was a repeated pattern. Someone in the house would tell her to leave she would and she would be homeless again before talking to the family friend and then going back to the house on the same day. Or going to the internet cafe and having all of her 'friends' find out more information on her 'sons' so that she could fix them.

And Fix them she did. She got one of them out of his room that he locked himself into. She helped out Osamu with his son and Takeru when he was taken by a different set of goons. She's helped each and everyone one of them. The one thing that made me cringe overtime was the little boys' acting...I don't know if it was on purpose because he was supposed to be a genius and didn't know how to socialize or what but seriously his acting was horrible!

The gadgets were pretty cool though most of them seemed to be really useless but also designed for every situation that came up. Near the end though it was started to get pretty cheesy...like the new power-ranger cheesy (not the original PRs but the new ones). I don't find it to shocking that Maki ended up being half sister to Fuu and daughter to Shinzo...I can honestly say I saw that coming. But how the heck did Fuu seem to know anything and how could he seem to know before the letter? Another thing...The others saw and read the letter....HOW DID THEY NOT KNOW!? I seems just like a giant plot hole for me...especially with the 'new' president...He used to just dress in suits but where the heck did he get teh costume for the last episode? I mean, I'm used to over the top for a J Drama but this/that....I don't even know...The cape didn't bother me but it was the glasses...Why did he even wear them in the first place? He seemed like he could see just fine without them; and he wasn't bad looking when he had them off.

Honestly I love J-Dramas...but they kind of have a draw back...Usually they're only about 11 episodes on average. So when you finally have some romance brewing between your characters it always (well almost) falls short of what you think and you're left wondering what happened. That's how I really felt about this drama...Sho and Chisato were finally moving forward! And it ended without a real confession from either of them! WHY!?!

Look at this!---------------------v
This would have been a perfect romance! I mean he had experience and she was like a guppy...He could teach her what love is! If not the others could! I mean it wasn't like there was a lot of love lost in that house. I mean Yusuke loved her and the fifth son loved her ( Why Can I never remember his name!!!!) This is just a plain pain in the but....This is why I like longer dramas that involve romance...or a movie. A movie is fine but dramas that are romance and comedy tend to take more towards the comedy than romance.

Anyways there were a few plot holes...Some really horrible acting....and some roundabout and predictable scenes. But for something just to watch and laugh with. This is a good drama to do so with. It's got cute guys/girls, family, feuding, some treasure hunting and not enough romance between Sho and Chisato.

See you next time for DRW!

2NE1 Do You Love Me MV Reaction Review

ANNYEONG

Okay first of this is the most amazing mv ever! I really liked how it was done like a home movie. I liked how they really got to show their personalities and act like goofballs. This really looks like something you would see friends making at a pool party or on a trip.

I love how when the video start it shows them like playing with sparklers and then bam! We see CL up close! I love how they have like a mini pool inside the large pool and everyone is just having fun.

The hotel scenes are probably the funniest with Minzy because she is just rockin out along with Dara’s blonde hair with the random rollers. There’s just so much that I love about this video.

Honestly when Dara was doing the bike I had a WTF moment. I literally asked out loud what she was doing. And CL Shaking her head like “I don’t know.” It’s just o fun. I don’t Think that I can watch this MV with smiling and laughing with the ladies. :D I really like how they used the Samsung Galaxy with the guys. I though that was really cute.

I know that this MV is probably one of the best (if not the best) that I’ve seen by a girl group. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen 2NE1 with a bad MV.

TASTY: MAMAMA Reaction

ANNYEONG
I know that this is a lot later than I promised. I finally got the videos recorded but my laptop is having some issues so, once I get it fixed I will post the video. I should be fixed by monday so for now This is going to have to do. Mianhae!
Hey everyone It’s silver back with another reaction this time to Woolliment’s TASTY. I have to say that Soryong really reminds me of Jongup from BAP at least at certain angles. And Daeryong reminds me of GD from Big bag. I know their twins but seriously they remind me of two of my favorite guys…How cool is that!

Okay so going onto the actual MV…I wasn’t really blown away…I mean compared to their first one: You know Me…this was how do I say this without sounding mean?

Boring?

I can’t think of a better word. I mean the rooms and the dancing was okay but until I saw Hoya and Dongwoo I wasn’t really into the video at all. There wasn’t anything that really caught my eye or a catchy part of the lyrics. Maybe I was spoiled by EXO and BAP so far, but this is just a let down.

I still love them and wish them the best its just probably not a song that I will run out to buy though. I know that this is probably the shortest MV reaction/review ever but I can't seem to really write anything for it. This Mv was actually really boring. I will post the video soon once I get my computer fixed.

This is silver signing off.

EXO_으르렁 (Growl)_Music Video (Korean ver.) Review!

ANNYEONG!
Hey everyone it's time for me to write up a review on EXO_으르렁 (Growl)_Music Video (Korean ver.)!

First off it's always nice to see Tao up close and personal at the beginning! He's just a really cute panda! Of course Kai is the first one to start singing. He is just gah! He's a cute baby. I just want to hug him. :)
Baekhyun...Quote messing with the lights!
Then the Sehun. I'm not sure if I like the silver/gray hair on him or not...I mean I've seen it on a few idols and it's okay with certain hairstyles but others...Not so much.

Baekhyun-ah...Why do you insist on playing with all of the lights? No matter how good looking you are ...it's a little distracting. I kinda wish Xiumin had a few more parts. He has like one or two lines (if that) in the song. I liked how he stole the hat. I had a funny voice come into my head at that part after I gushed about him: "Bish. That's my hat!"
I have no idea why that came into my head.

Bunny Dance!
Now moving from that: I really liked the next part! We have three types of dances in this song the duck dance (where they move their heads), the gorilla dance, and the bunny dance. We only see the bunny dance during the next part with Suho, Lay, Luhan, Chanyeol, D.O., and Kris. I didn't really focus to much on the others as much as Suho and Lay...I can't help it! I'm just drawn to them! Don't judge me! :P Anyways...I do love D.O.'s voice when he sings. I love Chen and Baekhyun's too, but D.O.'s I dunno when he hits the higher notes in other songs he doesn't get as pitchy as the others. Maybe that's just my ears playing tricks on me? But still...going back to the bunny dance. I think I posted this gif in another post but this is what I am talking about! They look like bunnies and the image is forever burned into my head!

Honestly I was laughing when I realized that Kai had dropped his hat. But he played it off like a pro and still had all his swag going on. I don't think that Kai could ever lose his swag...Even his shy-cuteness has swag...How is that even possible with one guy?! Getting side tracked...I still can't get over the dance. I think that the part where Lay is in the middle is my absolute favorite...next to his close up that is. When I look at Lay now compared to MAMA, History, What is Love? dancing he looks like he's have so much more fun with this. I mean he is just more charismatic and...fierce! I went and watched a live performance and the practice video (which I never watched until  the MV's came out and even then I waited until I reviewed this to watch it. Lay, to me and maybe a few others (?), actually outshines Kai in dancing. I mean I don't know what it is but I can't help but think that he is shining brighter right now. Now all we have to do is make sure they don't hurt themselves anymore!

Now comparing both MVs I like the Chinese version better for vocals. To me it just sounds better. But on the other hand I really like the Korean version better for dancing...Either way Kris looks awkward with some of the steps. I love him he is just an awkward giant, along with Chanyeol.

Honestly that's all I really have to say. Other that I loved both versions of the song. Both for the same and some different reasons. I still love and support all of the EXO Members. Until next time everyone!

KIM HYUN JOONG 'Unbreakable' M_V (feat. Jay Park) Video Reaction

KIM HYUN JOONG 'Unbreakable' M_V (feat. Jay Park) Review

ANNYEONG!

Okay so first things first! HJ finally had a Korean comeback! This really made me so freaking excited that I bought his album (on ITunes: ) and just fell in love with all of his songs! They are absolutely amazing, But I should probably be getting back to my reaction to the MV, huh?

Okay wow the video was impressive. The first thing you see is a giant drum. The color Scheme is all black and white. With the Black stallion and the coloring it really gives the MV a dark and mysterious feeling. I don’t know how to phrase it….It’s powerful? Does that make any sense?
I want that Dragon!

Seeing him in that mask at first kind of freaked me out but it was a really cool mask! And him throwing it was like throwing away past looks. It was really pretty awesome. But the dancers and the martial artists are pretty amazing. I like how they incorporated them into the video. They really give life the strong ‘ Unbreakable’ image that is coming across.

Seriously!? A horse turned into a freaking Ferrari! Again Power and strong keep coming up. The color red is great for leaders and people in ‘Power’.  But going back to the horse poofing into a freaking car! That would have been so awesome to see. I mean you could have two types of transportation one that’s cheap and can go cross-country. Another that can make you look good  while driving and go super fast….And of course HJ just steps out with all types of swag and just looking amazing with his new hair cut. I really like this by the way. I think…I like it more than his Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss days. He had a boyish charm then but now he is distinctly a man. I mean he was always a man but now he oozes masculinity and swag.

This was pretty awesome. :)
Dude the female swordsman…you go girl! I mean dang! She was pretty good. Normally guys just have good-looking girls dancing in the background but HJ has them dancing ‘traditional’ dances. Now let me talk about this dance. It looks so freaking amazing and you can put a lot of swag into it. Again the moves go along with ‘strong’ and ‘powerful’ concept that I’m seeing. Then the guy with the ribbon hat! Break dancing with that hat was pretty freaking awesome. I mean doing those moves alone are pretty impressive but add that hat to it…whoa. It was amazing! :D and to see that dragon painting. Can I have that? I mean seriously HJ Can you just send that to me? Cause I could totally have that in my room.

…The car turned into a …cow? Bull? Umm… it’s not as impressive as the horse. Sorry HJ that’s the Truth, I don’t know what would have been better but almost anything is better than cow.

...I've died and gone to heaven... Don't try to bring me back...
The hat tricks were pretty awesome. Of course we have Jay Park. Him and his swag self. This video just keeps getting better my two favorite men in the same video! (^/////^) It’s getting hot in here and I can’t take it anymore. There was the only line that bothered me “I keep real one hunnit” God that was the most irritating line in the whole song. :/ It’s like Eli’s  “I hate you” In DoraDora…That annoying baby-like voice that goes up in pitch…but other than that I loved him and…OMG HE RIPPED HIS SHIRT!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN”T BREATHE!

No seriously I forgot to breathe when he did that. He has an amazing body and with the fake tattoos and the water…………..Oh! Sorry I kind of lost consciousness for a second there. I swear after my initial reaction I just went back and watched it over and over again. But my god that man has a sexy back!

Okay, overall, I loved the MV. I really don’t have anything horrible to say about it. I mean the car turning into a bull was a little anticlimactic and Jay Park’s baby voice kind of annoyed me but everything was pretty freaking amazing. I was really impressed with all the martial artists. I mean I saw a mal and female swordsmen and I saw a couple of dudes with num-chucks. The drummers were awesome too. I can’t wait to watch a live performance of this. I think that it would be pretty awesome. I wonder if Jay Park will be performing with him? I know that sometimes they have featuring artists but they never perform with them; while some of them do.

I’ll be editing and posting the video within the new few days and when I do I will post the link here at the bottom of the post. J

에프엑스_첫 사랑니(Rum Pum Pum Pum) MV Reaction

ANNYEONG!
Hey everyone! I'm back for the third day in a row! Looks like this is a new record! Anyways Today I'm just going to be expanding on my reaction to 에프엑스_첫 사랑니(Rum Pum Pum Pum) Music Video.

All in all I liked the video. I really was not fond of Krystal's red? Pink? hair. I don't know to me it looks really plastic and dirty. Not a great look. I like Krystal but when they do this to her hair and it doesn't look good. I'm not going to lie and say it does. It looks stringy and UGH! But other than that I loved Krystal's singing non-the less.

Like I said in the video, I really want to see Amber in some more feminine clothing. It doesn't even have to be a skirt or a dress. Just something to make her look more feminine! Again don't get me wrong Amber is one of my girl crushes and I love her to death but seriously even in this---->
She still looks more feminine than she did in this video. I loved her rap though. It was really catchy and made me smile when I heard it!.

There were some things that I didn't like about the video too. When they're in the white room standing on glass and the camera is moving around them...I can't look at that scene for very long. I have to look away cause it makes me a little bit dizzy.  And again I have to go back to Krystal...I didn't like her lime green outfit. I would have liked it if her hair was that shocking bright color. Do you know what I mean? It's just something that I can't understand...Is she supposed to represent a christmas tree? Or just Christmas in general in that scene? Because that's what it looked like to me! Not the best choice in color coordination style 언니. Not the best at all.

Now I really don't have anything to say about Luna, Sulli, or Victoria! I mean I really don't other than I loved them and their outfits. Though I didn't particularly like Sulli's hair most of the time. I didn't hate it , but i didn't like it. So that not really important.

I really liked how they bejeweled Amber's right eyebrow! I mean just look at it! It's pretty cool! :D   This also shows the scene with all the cool metal floating flowers! I don't know why I like this room I just do. I think that this is the favorite off the wall room that I've seen from SM and it doesn't have any brick rooms that they're all so fond of using either! :D That just made this whole video much better.

The dance ,though, I kinda liked. It looks fun to learn. I really liked the 'dance' break near the end. That's more what I was looking for in this entire video! That type of style and sound...through out the whole thing? Personally that would have made it better for me.

All-in-all, the video was okay. I really liked Electrick Shock, Nu ABO, Hot Summer type of sound and videos. It was a good song but the video didn't do well for me. Song=Great! Video=....<--No comment.
Look forward to see a live performance. And see the outfits in a different light? Maybe if Krystal wears that green one I might like it more than I did in the white room? Who knows.

Well that's if for this review/reaction. This is Silver/ Rei signing off!

SOMETHING AMAZING HAPPENED!

ANNYEONG!!

Okay so while this first part is not really K-pop related I just had to say that I am freaking excited! So before I asked this job if they had any positions open and at first, they told me that they didn't. But then today I got a phone call and guess who it was!? GUESS!!

If you guessed EXO's Lay...Yeah right I wish ha-ha. But if you guessed the employer then you get a free internet cookie! I got the message sometime this morning; maybe around 10 or 11, but I was like completely spazzing over what had happened. It was so freaking amazing that I was rolling on the floor...Literally! That's how excited I was. I really needed a job for when I move to Boise. Considering I only have two weeks left of my current job it was a dire need. In all honesty, I might be making a little less (or maybe more after we discuss what's going on) but still. How is amazing is this? I mean I swear after EXO's Growl came out this happened? Can I say EXO! Kamsahamnida! Jeongmal Kamsahamnida!

Enough of the real world ha-ha. ON TO K-POP LAND!

So I actually did my EXO Growl MV reaction. Let me know what you all think?

I'm going to elaborate:

I was thoroughly
impressed with the choreography! It was simple but with the camera movement it made it look extremely dynamic. Plus hearing that they filmed it in one go was simply amazing. Imagine how long it would take if they didn't? Ugh that just seems like a lot of work.

I know that I stated it in my video but...Kris' tie...I would have liked it better if it was plain. I have no idea why it really bothers me it just does. Seeing Lay sing and have a few more parts was really amazing and it made me so happy. I know I didn't show a lot in the video but I was so happy that about this video. I heard that they filmed a few versions of the video so I can't wait to see them.

Gah I don't even know how to put any of what I'm feeling into words. Do you know what I mean. Its just Gah!

Look Suho is a green bunny!
Another thing look at this gif! This is exactly what I was thinking of when I saw them doing the hop part of the Dance! I mean look at them! They would seriously make great bunnies!

It would be painful if they fell. TT.TT

Also going back to the dance. The once part where they're leaning back and then come back up. That part just looked extremely difficult. I can't imagine learning that and practicing that move for hours. This one part was one of them and they all looked so good doing it!

There's also another GIF running around that could really be taken out of context...This fandom REALLY lives up to the unofficial name: EXOTICS. I mean how do they even get the gifs? They're like...I can't even say what they are LOL. But I'm kinda glad for them. They can find things that 'normal' people would never catch. But anyways they are just amazing. I mean look at this! What was Sehun doing?! I mean really! O.O
Anyway I think that I am done for the night so I will sign off and look forward to tomorrow when I do some different types of reactions: Anime, Shows, and others :D
